AngelsInvestor

Angel investment platform

Early-stage fundraising runs on forwarded decks and inbox archaeology. Both sides are working from the same deal and neither can see its state.

— Summary

A platform connecting founders raising early capital with angel investors — structured deal records, controlled disclosure and a pipeline both sides read from.

01

The challenge

A founder cannot tell whether an investor has read the deck; an investor cannot tell whether the round is still open. Sensitive material is shared as attachments that keep circulating long after the conversation ends.

02

The approach

  1. 01

Made the deal — not the message thread — the record, with stage, terms and participants explicit and shared

  2. 02

Built document access as a grant that can be revoked, scoped per investor and logged on every open

  3. 03

Separated what a founder publishes from what an investor sees at each stage, so disclosure widens deliberately rather than all at once

  4. 04

Structured investor profiles around thesis and cheque size so matching is a query, not an introduction chain

03

The outcome

Founders and investors work a raise from the same record, with document access that can be withdrawn and a full history of who saw what and when.
