Engineering. Design. Innovation.

Glassbridge AI was founded on a simple observation: most companies do not need another vendor. They need one team that can take an idea from strategy through design, engineering, launch and the years of scaling that follow — without the work fragmenting across four agencies and a contractor nobody can reach.

Mission

To make world-class technology development accessible to ambitious businesses.

The engineering standard that used to be reserved for well-funded product companies should be available to a fifty-person operator with a real problem and a real budget. That is the gap we exist to close.

Vision

A world where every ambitious company can build technology that moves it forward.

Software should be an asset a business owns and compounds, not a recurring cost it rents from whoever built the last version and has since moved on.

01

Philosophy

What we believe about building software. Four positions that shape every technical and commercial decision we make.

  • 01

    Technology serves the business

We start from what the company is trying to achieve commercially, then decide what to build. A technically elegant system that does not move a business metric is a failure with good test coverage.

  • 02

    Build fewer things, properly

Scope discipline is a design skill. We would rather ship four capabilities that hold up under real load than fourteen that need a rewrite in eight months.

  • 03

    The client owns everything

Code, data model, infrastructure, documentation, accounts. No proprietary runtime, no licensed black box, no dependency on us to keep operating.

  • 04

    Decisions get written down

Architecture is a series of trade-offs. We record which ones we made and why, so the team inheriting the system understands the reasoning rather than guessing at it.

02

Development approach

How the work actually runs. No discovery theatre, no six-week wireframe phase, no surprise at the end. The same four movements on every engagement.

  1. 01

    Discovery before estimates

We map the business process, the existing systems and the constraints that are genuinely non-negotiable before anyone quotes a timeline.

  2. 02

    Design against real data

Interfaces are designed with production-shaped data, edge cases and empty states included. Prototypes that only work with three perfect records are not evidence.

  3. 03

    Ship in working increments

Deployable software from the first sprint, behind flags where needed. Progress is something you can open in a browser, not a percentage in a status report.

  4. 04

    Instrument before scaling

Logging, tracing and performance budgets go in before growth arrives, so scaling is a tuning exercise rather than an incident.

03

Technology standards

The bar every system has to clear. These are not aspirations in a proposal. They are the conditions under which we agree to ship.

  • 01

    Typed end to end

TypeScript across application code, with types generated from the schema rather than hand-maintained.

  • 02

    Owned data model

PostgreSQL as the default source of truth, with migrations under version control and reviewable.

  • 03

    Tested where it matters

Coverage concentrated on business rules, money movement and state transitions instead of chasing a percentage.

  • 04

    Performance budgets

Real-device targets for interaction latency and page weight, enforced in CI rather than checked once at launch.

  • 05

    Accessible by default

Semantic markup, keyboard paths, focus management and contrast held to WCAG 2.2 AA.

  • 06

    Reproducible infrastructure

Environments provisioned as code, with preview deployments for every change and one-command rollback.

  • 07

    Security as routine

Least-privilege access, secret management, dependency auditing and row-level authorisation from the first commit.

  • 08

    Documented handover

Runbooks, architecture notes and onboarding docs written for an engineer who has never met us.

04

Leadership & ownership

Glassbridge AI Inc. is privately held and independently financed. No outside agency, holding group or institutional investor sits between a client and the people accountable for the work.

— Investors

Glassbridge AI is financed by its founder and two private investors. There is no institutional capital, no board seat traded for funding and no outside pressure on how the work gets done.

— Where we work

Glassbridge AI Inc. is federally incorporated in Canada, with its head office in Montréal. We work with teams across North America and Europe. Engagements run remotely by default, with on-site time where discovery or delivery genuinely benefits from being in the room.
